Reasons to Run 100 Miles at Dinosaur Valley Endurance Run
There are many reasons to run any of the distance at Dinosaur Valley Endurance Run, but we'll give you 10 reasons to run 100 miles with us!
-
Uh, it's a freaking belt buckle with a dinosaur skull and the state of Texas on it? Hell yeah!!
-
We are big on encouraging participants to dream big and celebrating big accomplishments. Everyone in the 100 miler who passes the 100K mark (same start time and course as the 100K) will get an official 100K finish. And if you don't end up finishing the full 100 miles after that, you still take home a 100K buckle!
-
You see your crew every 10.5 miles!
-
You get a pacer starting at mile 52.
-
Participants age 60 and over may have a pacer from the start of the race to the finish with permission ahead of time by the Race Director.
-
While out on the loop, there is nowhere to drop, so you might as well keep moving.
-
It's technical but not too technical (some rocks, some super smooth); it has hills but not too many hills (total gain is 6000 ft)!
-
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is a hub for American Airlines, and the airport operates more flights than any other hub on the planet, so there is probably a flight from your area! We also have Dallas Love Field Airport which is a hub for Southwest Airlines.
-
You never pay any permit or parking fees on top of your entry fee.
-
You get professional photography out on the course to catch all those great moments during the race!
